Happy Easter

Can you stand it?  They are so beautiful!
Even when they aren't in their Sunday best....
Lauren- Nightgown and Motorcycle Gear!
Patrick asked if they could wake up and dye eggs right away in their pjs.  So that's what we did!
Notes to the Easter bunny.  Lauren is totally missing pants in this photo!

Valentine's Day 2013

Kevin and I did the math and we think we were engaged 15 years ago on Valentine's Day.  We love Valentine's Day for that reason and all the fun heart shapes that come along with it.  In other words, we heart hearts.

First up, heart shaped pancakes (red velvet with a plain pancake border).

The boys had valentines to take to all of their friends.
And back to back parties in the afternoon (lots and lots of treats).

Lauren got to hang out with "Robert" all day.
Nana came by and brought us a cake!
We made MeatHearts and Spaghetti.  YUM!
Daddy was running late for dinner and we were crashing hard from our sugar high (Keith was throwing a fit) so we had a dance party.  All of Lauren's clothes fell off!
Now that's a party!

Happy St. Patrick's Day

Despite Patrick's best efforts the Callahans did not catch the leprechaun this year!  The leprechaun did leave a bunch of clues that lead the boys to their treasure.

He also left some green milk!

I made Green Velvet cupcakes to take to the Jansen's house for our St. Patty dinner.  p.s. I am saving my money to buy all of the Wilton frosting colors.  It is super concentrated and I love it.

Thanks for our St. Patrick's Day outfits Nana!

Twitterpatted

I recently took an informal survey and discovered that 75% of the first grade boys are crushing A LOT.   I thought it was just Patrick but apparently there are several boys that are... girl crazy.  Really?  really.

Patrick has his eye on two girls.  One will be his wife and the other his girlfriend.  Do you know the worst part for a mom?  The idea that these girls might reject him and break his heart.

Here is our my Valentine's Day project, courtesy of Blonde Designs.   I didn't get the Fry Boxes finished... maybe next year.
