Not the appliance kind of dishwasher (although a girl can hope) the kid dishwasher. Reason number 5 for having kids: Built-in dishwasher. Patrick is now hopelessly devoted to the art of dishwashing. I am not sure if I have made/let him wash dishes before but this was the first time that I just let him handle the task on his own. I washed the sharp stuff, because he told me too. He washed the rest of the chocolaty mess.
Oh and we finally made our "Giada Candy Cane Cookies". Patrick originally wanted to make Martha's Chocolate-Peppermint Cookies but Mommy is trying to preserve her sanity. Patrick is convinced the Santa is going to love Giada's cookies. They were a good Patrick baking project. Easy and fun.Meanwhile, I am going to give my dishpan hands a break and let my son pitch in. Merry Christmas Mommy.
