Happy New Year

Kevin and I came to the collective and shocking realization that this year (2012) Keith. starts. Kindergarten.  I've known that this was going to happen, I even have a countdown to Kinder ticker on my phone (236 Days 20 Hours 31 Minutes 50 Seconds).  But to really KNOW it and own it and say that it is this year.  Floored.  So, we'll file that under "Things I Can't Control."

So I am focusing instead on the things I can control.  First of which is the clutter in my house.  Last year at this time I was just trying to keep my head above water.  Now I can conquer this thing (with make-up on and everything).  Kevin is still working a ton of overtime so I feel challenged to keep up with his pace.  I have a class that I finish teaching early next week.  Then I have at least three weeks to take care of business before my next class starts.

Goals:

1. Organize the craft closet shelf
2. Organize Legos
3. Filing, scanning, filing, scanning
4. Organize kid crafts
5. Print photos, frame photos, hang photos, REPEAT
6. Find Keith's glasses
7. Taxes (yay.)

And I need to do a better job of keeping up with the housework.   I'll let you know how this all goes.
