Momma's Got A New Camera!
I have wanted to buy the Nikon D40 since it came out in 2006. A year ago our Canon that Kevin purchased when Patrick was born stopped taking pictures (at Patrick's 3rd birthday party so that was perfect timing). At the time, I wanted something more compact and we weren't in the market to spend a lot of money on a new camera. We bought a Nikon Coolpix out of necessity last summer. Our current Nikon is okay but the shutter speed is such a drag. My boys move too fast to have a slow camera! Well I was able to show so much restraint during my SF shopping trip there was money leftover for the fancy new camera!
